Chasm Falls is located at 9,060 ft. in Rocky
Mountain National Park, Colorado. The falls are found just off Old
Fall River Rd. down a paved path that drops several hundred feet.
Chasm Falls is created by Fall River. Karol Mack normally
paints these falls in the morning to capture the best lighting. The
original painting is a 50" x 2",and was painted from several smaller field
studies painted plein air (on location). Chasm Falls remains one of
Karol's favorite painting destinations.
